Thanks
editThank you, floating IP, for the additions. Lillo is a hard man to treat fairly, and not many people seem inclined to even try these days. Geogre 11:34, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

editThis took me a while to edit and still keep the page's original context. I hope I did everything correctly. Group, let me know if I need to fix anything. Thank you to all involved for your help on this project. Thanks! Bartelsnjames (talk) 03:32, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- You added lots of good content, but you need to add in-line references as indicated. Information that remains unreferenced must, unfortunately, be deleted. Please read these important policies: WP:V and WP:OR. In addition, you have not related the section on context sufficiently to Lillo's life or works, and unfortunately it must be deleted unless you can explain the relationship. -- Ssilvers (talk) 07:03, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
I have added all in-line references where I know the citations. I have asked B to look at his original research and find which articles he cites his information from, add the citations, and make sure the section on historical context relates to Lillo's works. The other information was from the original article - which I was told I had to keep and could not delete - and I do not have those citations. Thank you! - Thanks, but it is essential that you add page numbers to the Norton book where each item of information is found. Also, we can delete stuff from the original article. That's one of the great strengths of Wikipedia: it can be easily corrected. I grabbed some references from our article on The London Merchant. If you review the sources there, you may find much more information about Lillo. Also, a Google search reveals that there are several sources of information online about Lillo that you have not referred to. Frankly, as written, the "context" section doesn't add anything and is likely to be deleted unless it can be clarified how it relates to Lillo's life and works. Please discuss. -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:24, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks to User:Tim riley for adding references from the ODNB. -- Ssilvers (talk) 15:38, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
