editHelp! For some weird technical reason, I can't add the following line to the top of the article. Could someone not cursed by evil please put it there for me? It's: :''For the British actor, see [[Geoffrey Palmer (actor)]]'' Thanks. -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 17:14, 8 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Name of Article
editShould this article heading have the disambiguation "(politician)" after it? If one said Geoffrey Palmer, I would assume they were referring to the actor.
- I agree with the above. I think the actor is the most famous Geoffrey Palmer, worldwide at least. I don't think anyone outside of New Zealand will have heard of this one, but many more will have heard of the actor. I suggest that Geoffrey Palmer be a disambiguation page, with this article being at Geoffrey Palmer (politician). --Berks105 18:40, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
- As no one objected to this I have moved it to Geoffrey Palmer (politician). Geoffrey Palmer is now a disamb page. --Berks105 18:53, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
QC or SC?
editI've e-mailed Palmer's PA about his title. Under the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006, those with the SC title can continue to use it. --LJ Holden 22:32, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
- Harbour Chambers lists him as a QC, as does this recent opinion piece by him. Mattlore (talk) 23:38, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
