Moodiesburn
editDoes anyone have any information on the Kirkintilloch/Moodiesburn section of the Garnkirk line, which was closed off in the early 80's? It now serves as a walkway but the steep embankments on either side and the old tunnel (image) which now supports the A80 leave no doubt as to its history. 2.124.196.38 (talk) 13:19, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

- I'll leave it another week for anyone to comment, but if no-one objects I'll alter the title of this article to Garnkirk and Glasgow Railway. There was never any railway called the Glasgow and Garnkirk.Afterbrunel (talk) 14:24, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
- No problem with with renaming it. From the history I created back in 2007 and the Lead starts off ...Garnkirk and Glasgow Railway... , but its got the wrong title. I don't understand why? Pyrotec (talk) 18:46, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
- I've now moved it and tidied all the links, etc, except those on user's talk pages (only a few). Thanks for bring this to our attention. Pyrotec (talk) 20:12, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
