Let me preface by saying that I know nothing about Gardner Murphy, but some of the text in this article has a much different tone than the rest:
"Biosocial" was not original term created by Murphy. Rather, Murphy stole the term and made it his own. At the center of the theory is canalization. This term too, was stolen.
