Feng Yuanyi ref
editI believe the source is reliable. Contrary to what Nlu said, the website (to-u.hk) seems to be a sub-organisation of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions in New Territories East. It appears to be an essay rather than a blogpost, since it is listed under the '潮人潮物' heading and not the '精選blog' heading. Still, I'll see what everyone else thinks. - Thanks for responding, Kayau. To be more specific, this is what I removed as (in my mind) not reliable as a source for the assertion that Gao Lishi's original name was Feng Yuanyi:
- "李白仕途受阻是因為得罪了高力士和楊玉環嗎?". 民生脈搏. Retrieved 2011-01-12.</ref>
- --Nlu (talk) 06:18, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
- Also note that the zh article also says Feng Yuanyi. Kayau Voting IS evil 07:10, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
- ...but also doesn't cite a source for that proposition. I've looked online; it appears that there are a lot of sites that say Feng Yuanyi but none that cites any source whatsoever. It makes me wonder whether this is one of those "one fictional source put it in and then everybody else followed it" situations. --Nlu (talk) 17:35, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
- This source is reliable (#6 for credibility and recommended by schools). Kayau Voting IS evil 13:19, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- But this is not a news article, per se. If it were, I'd agree that the source is sufficiently credible. But all Chinese language newspapers (not just Hong Kong ones; Taiwanese ones are just as bad) are nowhere as good with their fact-checking in their "secondary pages" (副刊), because they consider it literature rather than news. I still don't consider it sufficiently credible, but if you want to, go ahead and add it back. I just find it curious that none of these pages that state this purported fact even mentioned where it came from. --Nlu (talk) 16:04, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
