Metallicity: 89%-168%
editHow can a star possibly be made out of more than 100% metal? 89.15.238.20 (talk) 21:32, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
- That's the abundance of metals (i.e. non-hydrogen/helium atoms) in the Star relative to the abundance of metals in the Sun. The abundance in the Sun is roughly 1.69%, so a metallicity of 168% solar means 1.69 × 1.68 = 2.84%. Regards, RJH (talk) 00:02, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
Orbital parameters of planet need update
editNews From The γ Cephei Planetary System AIP Conference Proceedings, Volume 1331, pp. 88-94 (2011) has better constraints and somewhat larger planet mass and lower eccentricity. Qemist (talk) 03:13, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
