Gaggan Anand is the owner and chef of Gaggan Restaurant, which happens to be voted the best Asian restaurant by Restaurant Magazine and at number 17 of the World's Best Restaurant, the highest ranked restaurant in Asia. He is also an innovative chef which combines progressive cooking techniques learned from Ferran Adria to traditional Indian cuisine. Please do your research before voting for speedy deletion.
Contested deletion
editThis article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Gaggan's restaurant is the highest ranked restaurant from Asia in the World's Best Restaurant in 2014. http://www.theworlds50best.com/list/1-50-winners#t11-20, beating out Yoshihiro Narisawa https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Yoshihiro_Narisawa, Nihonryori_Ryugin https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Nihonryori_Ryugin, who also have entries in wikipedia. Unless you delete
He combines progressive culinary techniques that he learned from Ferran Adria to traditional Indian cuisine.
- I've declined the speedy, but it looks like he's generally just known for his current restaurant. I would probably recommend merging the two articles together, since that would allow for some discussion about the chef and the restaurant. The coverage is predominantly about his business, but we could merge the restaurant article in here so there can be some discussion about the chef himself. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:36, 2 May 2015 (UTC)
