GE's LightSpeed CT scanners have been shown to cause terminal cancer in 1 out of 1200 patients exposed to the defective instrument. Two GE employees, Steven Schnurer and Brian Skrade, have been indicted for 2 and 3 felony counts, respectively, of providing false information to the FDA, by falsifying the data regarding chronic overexposure of x-rays caused by these LightSpeed scanners. I removed the above section pending better verification. Either way it needs rewriting for NPOV.

Please note that the bio for Vishal Wanchoo is in the process of being updated. It was written prior to the acquisition of IDX. With that acquisition, the headquarters of the GE Healthcare Integrated IT Solutions business moved from Barrington, Illinois, to Burlington, Vermont. ++User:GE Healthcare 16:50, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

What is this? Dueling GE Employees? Do both "Porche gal" and "User: GE Healthcare" work for GE? It was originally Barrington, IL....then Burlington, VT....then back to Barrington. All in the span of a week. Very odd Arx Fortis 20:32, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I added the history section from 1893 to 1994, there is a lot of detail, but not many references. many of the companies GE bought do not have an entry in Wikipedia.
