Original research
editMuch of this article is currently various editors' observations. There are numerous assertions that nobody has been able to support with a WP:RS and worse, one editor keeps removing maintenance tags to this effect, going back years. Please help find sources for these statements or tighten up the article by removing the observations. Toddst1 (talk) 04:42, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
@Toddst1: Did you by any chance look in the archives for discussions 6 years ago? I'm glad to work with you to improve the article and am curious to see your more specific proposals for improvements. Geoff | Who, me? 12:53, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
'Consumer facing American cuisine'?
editI think that if this wording is to be preserved, it should at least be defined. Trilobright (talk) 20:21, 21 March 2023 (UTC)
French vs. Catalina
editAnecdotally, I think of French dressing and Catalina dressing as separate styles. But I could accept a case for both being grouped under one article. What I don't understand is Catalina not having its own entry (it redirects here), but the French article referring to Catalina at times as if it is a separate style. It's internally inconsistent.
