removed numerous egregious inconsistencies

I don't know what the motivation was for AhaaJ, the person who created Mr. Gallagher's wiki page, but truth doesn't seem to be one of them.

Originally entering his dob as 1944, then changing it to 1951, as it stayed until Momike1 came along, could be the result of confusing two very different individuals who have the same name, or it could be some prank. If you watch River City, a drama serial Gallagher is currently in weekly, you will wonder who his plastic surgeon is or perhaps his miracle diet and cosmetic regime, were he age 61 (or especially age 68, as AhaaJ first entered).

I do not know who Momike1 is, but that individual seems to have tried to correct problems on the page, only to have it reverted to the insanity before and tagged as possible "vandalism."

I have included a link to Mr. Gallagher's CV, and I believe that were he ever on Last of The Summer Wine, Scotch and Wry, or especially Doctor Who, nevermind having a part in the film Braveheart, he would certainly have included these in that CV, and they are plainly not there. Indeed, no character Captain Phil McCulloch is listed in *any* of the Doctor Who episodes, which span a total of 18 years: Terror of the Autons (1971), Invasion of the Dinosaurs (1974), and Battlefield (1989). As Mr. Gallagher is most likely born in the early 60's, if 1962 is the correct year, this would have him playing an adult role at the age of 9.

Further, I have a copy of the film Trainspotting in my home I have watched it several times, and I have yet to spot Frank Gallagher. Again, given the importance of Trainspotting in cinematic circles, there is no reason Mr. Gallagher would exclude a role in Trainspotting from his CV.

Momike1 entered a dob of July 8 1962, which seems entirely more realistic, but I was unable to verify this information, and I am unsure how the original "February 23" date was chosen.

Momike1 also deleted unverified claims with information that *can* be confirmed, simply by clicking the imdb link that was already on the page. Momike1 was not committing vandalism, but rather trying to correct a page out of control with disinformation, only to have someone who likely has never even seen Frank Gallagher come along and deem his efforts to improve a page as vandalism. It is especially offensive that in the process of policing the page, Materialscientist removed Mr. Gallagher's role in the film Orphans, a fine film Gallagher most definitely *was* in, which the original prankster/article creator, AhaaJ, never mentioned.

I imagine the changes I made, today, with links that *can* be verified may also soon be reverted to the original disinformation and tagged "vandalism," but I (as Momike1) have tried to put things on a more even keel.

If for no other reason than respect for Doctor Who fans, *please* do not revert to the obviously fictional information regarding a character that did not exist, most especially one who was never a recurring character over 18 years and through three very different Who stories.

If you're here to police the page, at the very least check the information against imdb before you revert. That takes 10 minutes at most, to see what's actually in Gallagher's list. If you're ignorant about film, stage, and tv credits, maybe get someone who knows how to check these things before you revert to something that most likely was a either a drunken meandering or a prank. Braveheart should have tipped someone off that the filmography was a joke.
