Evidence for date of birth

Birth dates of 1515? and 1513? have been suggested by editors. What is the evidence for either of these? This biography of Francis's father, Richard, which is based on the prestigious History of Parliament, says that Richard was certainly married by 1502. It also says that Francis was married in 1530, and that Francis was knighted in 1533. The later statement also appears in Ives's book The Life and Death of Anne Boleyn (2005). Based on these facts it is possible that Francis could have been born around 1503 or may be even earlier. If it is not verifiable I shall remove the questionable birth date. -- Op. Evidence for Place of Birth

I have added citation needed to this. If 'Surrey' is a reference to Sutton Place, this is incorrect as this did not come into his father's hands until 1521. Verica Atrebatum (talk) 12:51, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
