Comment on text: It was at Kelmscott House that Sir Francis Ronalds set up a primitive telegraph in 1816.
The property was renamed Kelmscott House by William Morris.
Originally called The Retreat, Morris renamed it after the Oxfordshire village of Kelmscott where he had lived at Kelmscott Manor from June 1871.
In April 1879 Morris moved the family home again, this time renting an 18th-century mansion on Hammersmith's Upper Mall in West London. Owned by the novelist George MacDonald, Morris would name it Kelmscott House and re-decorate it according to his own taste.

The sentence is in the same paragraph as the main quote but in front of it, so I accept the critique. However the other sentence that you kept is in the 5th subsection of Ronalds' publication and has no connection with the original quote. So I suggest to remove that sentence from the current revision. Krautersuppe (talk) 14:23, 7 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
