History
editObviously this would be original research and I won't change the article based upon it, but a plaque says that it was built by the Works Progress Administration in 1942 (making it one of their very last projects prior to its dissolution in view of World War II. I would imagine that, also due to the war, it was not used all that much, and not for college football, until 1946, the first postwar year with time to organize a team in time for a season. 75.216.205.78 (talk) 15:17, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
