editWhat's the difference between "flipped" and "flopped"? The article even claims "flipped" is used incorrecty to describe "flop". The postulated change of axis looks like nonsense; surely one would be swapping left for right and the other top for bottom? Citations to other than philosophy papers would be useful, too. --Wtshymanski (talk) 18:42, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
Really?
editThe descriptions are all good, but I've never come across "flopping" before and googling for it comes up with lots of other things, but not with mirroring. Is this either a made up term or specialist jargon? -- SGBailey (talk) 21:44, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
- Also both references result in "not founds". -- SGBailey (talk) 21:46, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
Use in James Cameron's Titanic
editI added a reference to its use in the movie. If Kate Winslet knows the word, then it can't be that esoteric... -- AnonMoos (talk) 19:28, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
