Stub status, question about annual child pages
edit...came here, because of present, 2024 Afghanistan flood reports... Someone already hastily (and IMO sloppily) started a 2024 Afghanistan-Pakistan floods stub. So while this is an almost annual event, sadly, this main page on floods in Afghanistan doesnt even go deeper into the causes and consequences. Missing completely for example is the ecological context (as so often on WP).
Then some formal issues on the child pages (stubs) named in the List:
- Should these annual event stubs not be named uniformly? For example plural versus singular etc
- Shouldnt they be created separately for Afghanistan and Pakistan -or together as occurred in two cases: 2013 Pakistan–Afghanistan floods?
If there is as little editorial attention to these pages as it seems,(also lack of subsequent reporting about the event) shouldnt the info of these pages be better presented in a table? Wuerzele (talk) 08:55, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
Before starting an RfC here, Wikipedia:RFCBEFORE, I have posted this also on the respective Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Disaster management and Wikipedia:WikiProject Afghanistan and Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Weather/Floods task force pages in the hope that someone comments.--Wuerzele (talk) 09:27, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
