Hockey Hall of Fame
editWhy is there a link to the Hockey Hall of Fame listed here? The Hockey Hall of Fame is located at BCE Place, NOT First Canadian Place! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.106.21.230 (talk • contribs)
- That's true. So I have removed it, as you could have done. -- Slowmover 21:01, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
Just out of curiosity (and because I couldn't find this fact elsewhere), what building surpassed FCP as the tallest building in the British Commonwealth? Also, what is the current tallest building in the British Commonwealth?
- Petronas Tower[s] in Malaysia, Kuala Lampur is the answer in both cases.Gary Joseph 00:18, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Second Tallest Structure in Canada
editNot true, Sudbury Ontario has the 2nd tallest structure in canada (smokestack 1200ft tall) and some radio masts are taller than FCP in hamilton, therefore the word "structure" falsifies the following statement: "Making it the second tallest structure in Canada".
Although, FCP could be deemed the second tallest building in Canada, since the CN towers official record states that it is the tallest frestanding structure and building on land.

- Okay. Then this means that FCP is the third tallest free-standing structure in Canada, after CNT, and INCO. But I do not care what the marketing people at CNT say, it is not a building. If it were, it would be the tallest building in the world and the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat has not officially given it this title. Is it not enoung to be the tallest free-standing structure?Gary Joseph 20:20, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Contradiction
editThe article states the building was contructed in 1976, yet, the infobox and category state 1975. NorthernThunder 10:48, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
I know that it was constructed in 1975, but perhaps that was a type-o? 74.116.213.216 07:51, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Both the building owners (http://www.brookfieldproperties.com/my-building/detail.cfm?BID=247&RID=251) and the building's official site (http://www.fcpfirst.com/buildlease_aboutus.html) say 1975. I've changed the 1976 reference to reflect this. 69.77.165.5 17:58, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Elevators
editAlso, the number of elevators stated varies - which number is correct? 74.121.44.25 05:17, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
9/11 like incident?
editmuch overshadowed by the WTC terrorism, wasn't there a small cessna like plane that flew into the BMO tower in 2001/2002? I remember reports that a bit of the cladding was damaged, am I going bonkers here? I thought this was relevant in the timeline of things. 80.152.143.221 (talk) 06:55, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
