Renaming
editOkay, I withdraw my suggestion of merger (the notice should not have been removed from the poage, without being replaced by the disputed merger template, BTW) - but it still needs renaming. The current name is against the policy of Wikipedia:Naming conventions#Do not use an article name that suggests a hierarchy of articles. Exactly what the new name should be, though, is open to debate. Is Fijian politics during the time of Cakobau too vague or wordy? Grutness...wha? 00:57, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I agree with the need to rename the article. I think your suggestion is a good one, but perhaps Fiji during the time of Cakobau might be better, because information to be added will not be exclusively political. Later today, I'll have a look through other historical articles pertaining to other countries (USA, UK, etc) and see whether there's any precedent on Wikipedia that will help us with this question. BTW, I'm glad you've taken an interest in Fiji-related articles lately. Apart from my work plus an occasional swing from a single Fijian contributor (when he can fit it into his busy schedule), there are so few contributing to such topics, and there's such a lot of work still to be done. I hope you'll stay with this topic for a while and help us with it. Also, thanks for your suggestions about policy - I'm glad to meet someone who knows more about that than I do.
