Bias?

edit

Okay, so maybe it's not a bias, but to me, the entire section of "Kite flying and manja, a serious threat to bird and human life" just seems way blown out of the water. I might fix it up or take it out, if I have others to agree with me? [[User:TheVaultDweller|TheVaultDweller]>>$ (talk) 00:52, 22 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

No leave it in. I lived many years in Calcutta and the health and safety issues are incredible. Mostly people worry about the mindless scramble that accompanies the floating cut kites as they sail through the towns and traffic. Getting finger cuts sounds trivial but they are really serious because of possible infection. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.132.235.31 (talk) 19:27, 10 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

The link "Patang" in the section "Specific types of fighter kites" leads to a TV show. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.169.71.106 (talk) 10:21, 13 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Subtle racism?

edit

"Kite fighting is done in many countries, but is particularly associated with Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Vietnam, Korea, Thailand, and the slums of Brazil."

"In Brazil, kite fighting is a very popular leisure activity for children, teenagers and even young adults, particularly boys from poorer areas."

If you read the entire article no other countries have references like these. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.235.100.67 (talk) 21:52, 28 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
