Every tissue. They are synthesized (just like all the other coagulatie factoren I, II, III etc.) in the liver. When there's an injury all these factors get there, fibronectin just as much as fibrin.
I would be interested in seeing an expansion on the topic of embryonic lethality, it seems a bit truncated. Otherwise I would like to see this article bumped up to a C class it is more complete that a start.
