Feary (surname) → Feary – Feary currently redirecting to Fairy seems like an unlikely typo to make a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC over the name actually spelled "Feary". Can add a hatnote for Fairy (disambiguation) on the surname page if it's deemed necessary. —Bagumba (talk) 13:20, 28 October 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom.--Ortizesp (talk) 14:01, 28 October 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose The redirect to "Fairy" is because of the name "Faerie", a not so unlikely dyslexic (dislyxic) typo. --Bejnar (talk) 01:37, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
- I understand the original intent of the redirect. But why should a typo of an archaic term, faerie, be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC over the surname with the actual spelling "Feary". And why wouldn't a hatnote at the surname page suffice?—Bagumba (talk) 01:56, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
- Support – I'm not usually in favor of primarytopic takeovers, but this one seems to be such an obvious improvement. The opposition from Bejnar based on a misspelling of an archaic term seems ridiculous. Dicklyon (talk) 04:05, 30 October 2021 (UTC)
- Support per WP:PRECISE an actual topic should normally have priority over a misspelling. Crouch, Swale (talk) 10:45, 30 October 2021 (UTC)
