This man has just won a medal for Canada, yet there is no article in English on him. A disgrace. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.108.212.170 (talk) 19:23, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
Downhill distance
editSurely the women's downhill course was NOT longer than the men's. --Cosal (talk) 20:41, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
Team event
editWhy do you put six names in the team event, in all the runs only participated four skiers, not six. I mean, Nicole Hosp and Philipp Schörghofer from Austria don't have to be World Champions, the don't really participated in the team event. Does anybody see them in the runs? I didn't. Leonprimer (talk) 00:10, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
- But they still got awarded gold metals! They were part of the team. Shaevy (talk) 12:00, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
That's really stupid, somebody is world champion without participated actively in the event. Sometimes the rules of the events are not logical!

"All the events in 1989 were held at Vail" ?
edit- According to this source, the downhill was held in Beaver Creek's Centennial Trail: https://www.vailmag.com/outdoors/2020/12/five-must-ski-trails-at-beaver-creek
- According to this wikipedia page (unsourced), men's downhill, men's combination and women's slalom were held in Beaver Creek's Centennial Trail: https://de.wiki.x.io/wiki/Alpine_Skiweltmeisterschaft_1989
The error could be that the contributor who added this info thought that before the creation of the "Birds of Prey" trail, no races were held at Beaver Creek. Fleet ch (talk) 14:23, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
