optimal range
edit"optimal range 50 meters", (which incidentally I have changed to "maximum range"), sounds rather ambitious.
Polish Firearms site
editWell, that "Polish Firearms" site seems to be an ex-site, late site, you know, kind of a dead site. And it could have been not so Polish site... The adress seems to be rather turkish. But what do I know, I've been Pole for twenty years:) I won't delete that link couse I don't care enough about Wiki (plus I'm lazy). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.158.199.71 (talk) 01:04, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
B-class review
editThis article is currently at start/C class, but could be improved to B-class if it had more (inline) citations. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 21:17, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
.gif Correction
editThe .gif at the bottom of the page loops incorrectly, so that it appears to be loading two rounds. Just thought this was worthy of noting. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.106.80.230 (talk) 16:26, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
- Seven months later, the gif Vis_wz_35_(Radom_9_mm,_P.35p)_pistol.gif still needs to be fixed. The round loads twice and fires once. That wouldn't work well. Peter Bell (talk) 07:38, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
Whoever the Polish nationalist is with the hard-on against the "Radom" term
editPlease knock it off with the WP:POV. It's cited as the Radom in all Western (UK & US) publications I've personally seen. The name of the article reflects the Polish name, as it should, but the Radom reference will remain without surly pejoratives. Wikipedia doesn't exist to attack "misconceptions" that you're grumpy about, nor do I have any idea why showing the English term for a pistol based entirely on a combination of the features of the M1911 and Hi-Power (both designed by American John Moses Browning) disgusts and angers you so much; directing English-speaking and English-reading viewers to this page is what's important. Suggested citation backing up collector value/potential COI
editPlacing citation request here due to COI. This source citation reinforces the value collectors put on the Viz/Radom, item #18 in the source's article:
"The Vis is highly prized among collectors of firearms[1][2] and considered by some to be one of the best firearms of the period, combining some of the features present in the Colt M1911, the Browning Hi-Power, and the Ruby .45 ACP."
