The Hifn article included material about Exar from before their acquisiton. Someone more familiar with Exar may want to look at this and see if it should be integrated into this article.
- Roubik Gregorian became chief executive in February 2005.[1] In April 2005 Exar bought optical networking assets of Infineon Technologies.[2]
- In February 2007 Gregorian resigned.[3]
- In August 2007, Exar acquired Sipex. By April 2008, the fourth chief executive was announced in 15 months, Pedro "Pete" Rodriguez.[4]
