According to US law (at least), modern-day song lyrics are work under copyright and cannot be reproduced in full, only excerpts fall under fair use. In other words, this article needs to be gutted. --Joy [shallot] 11:57, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Sertab is so understanding person even leaves that unnoticed. And free promo.

I removed the lyrics per copyright issues; however I do not see why the name was changed from Everyway to Every Way. The later may be good English, but the former was the actual way the song title was written, irrelevant of what the correct English is, and so should have been kept faithful to the original. A good example of this is British writer Hanif Kureishi's My Beautiful Laundrette. Although he spelt the word "launderette" incorrectly - it has been continued to be spelt that way.
Note: This has led some editors in Wikipedia to mistakenly believe that there is an alternate British spelling of launderette without the 'e' - but if you open any English dictionary, you'll find that's a misconception, too. Kureishi admits he spelt it wrong and kept the misspelling. Deff6 12:43, 13 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is there any explanation why she compounded the words "every way" and added an unnecessary "that"? Is it just lack of familiarity with English? Mike H. Fierce! 04:25, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have no idea. I can't see how someone wouldn't notice that the song's name was not proper English. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 21:23, 5 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
