As you can see, I've removed the majority of the article. Wikipedia articles must be neutral—they cannot be used to praise a city, people's ancestors, the quality of the countryside, etc. Information should also be verified by reliable sources; I've kept some of the unsourced info, but we really do need references for what remains in the history section.
