editNeeds to be wikified. Isn't his 1907 Nobel Peace Prize notable? ---CH 01:20, 11 December 2005 (UTC) (randomly searching for cruft)
This is based on the biography by the Nobel Foundation from 1907. Since that is over a century ago that may be no longer copyrighted but it depends on the country it is in. http://nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/peace/laureates/1907/moneta-bio.html RJFJR 20:54, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Motto claim
editThe claim that Moneta's motto "In varietate unitas" somehow "inspired" the EU motto "In varietate concordia" is not borne out by (or consistent with) the Wikipedia account, and no verification has been found, so I have deleted it. Bjenks (talk) 10:32, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
