editEric B. should have his own page indeed, talk to someone you know who knows a fair bit about hip-hop history and has access to Wikipedia. Try to get them to write something. See any hip-hop pages that need expanding, even tangentially? WikiHeadz is distributed by the GFDL
Eric B., a rapper?
editEric B. was the DJ in the group, and not a rapper. He did pick up the mic as a solo artist later on, however. Eric B. is now hosting tv shows. Upon questioning, he stated that he would leave Rakim to music, so i can keep tv.
I didn't know he was on t.v could you list some shows he's on.
Eric B.'s wiki page
editI will probably make one for him. He is a main part of one of the most important rap groups. He deserves a page. --Taurus8 sam 08:08, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
Eric B
editWhy doesn't Eric B have his own page?
Don't get me wrong when I say this because I think eric b. is one of the best d.j.'s to ever live but the star of the group was the legendary rakim eric b. was almost considered an add on, although I think he should have his own page.

Fair use rationale for Image:Eric B Rakim-Follow the Leader (album cover).jpg
editImage:Eric B Rakim-Follow the Leader (album cover).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:12, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

POV
editThe introduction to the article was not written with a NPOV stance. It should probably be rewritten or deleted. 97.114.21.138 (talk) 22:52, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
- Frankly, the whole article suffered from unsourced fancruft, and I have now removed the worst of it. Please - more references; less adulatory opinionated text.

Rakim's Age
editOn this page it says Rakim was born January 28, 1967. On his own page it says January 28, 1968. Which one is it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.6.12.23 (talk) 05:57, 20 January 2014 (UTC)

Use rationale for Image: Eric B. featuring Rakim - Eric B. is President-My Melody (Zakia Records-1986) (Side A).jpg
editThis image should be included with the article because the article covers important historical content about the recording of the record "Eric B. Is President". The image better depicts the controversy between claims over who recorded the song, which differs between what was printed on the record and personal accounts. --Djrun (talk) 18:42, 25 September 2018 (UTC)
