Removal of merge tag

I don't think this article should be merged with the main list. The character's notability is enough that it would be impossible to refer to it all in that list; a quick Google search of his name, context, and relevant quotes reveals several sites that discuss the meaning of the character, and C.S. Lewis' letters clearly indicate that he considered the character, and the issue the character represents, worthy of comment on several different occasions. Furthermore, many other characters from that list have a separate page, so it is not unprecedented. Finally, nobody has discussed the supposedly suggested merge on either this talk page or that of the list, so the question seems to have little support or importance.

For these reasons I am removing the tag. Feel free to discuss it here and/or reinstate it with your argument for it. Flipping Mackerel (talk) 23:50, 23 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Separate the Narnia character and the Golem

The Golem Emeth in Jewish mythology has no connection to the character in Narnia other than the name, as far I know. It should have its own article.
