Embera-wounaan is the name of the territory

edit

In Spanish there is one article about the embera ethnic group and one article about the wounaan ethnic group, and one article Embera-Wounann about the territory that they share together in Panama. The problem with the English article is that this crucial distinction is not respected. Trad20102 (talk) 23:26, 14 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

You want to sign all your posts with four tildes (~) then your username. As long as you use reliable sources, please feel free to rewrite the article. It would be great to have more up-to-date information -Uyvsdi (talk) 00:11, 15 September 2013 (UTC)UyvsdiReply

Thank you. Indeed I am currently re-writing the article. It can be seen here:Emberá People. My progress is slow because I am currently living and working abroad. Also, I am relatively new to editing Wikipedia so am eager to learn how to best contribute. I am extremely happy to hear suggestions. Sublimesam (talk) 02:39, 17 November 2013 (UTC)SublimesamReply

Is the tone compliant?

edit

The article is very interesting, but some parts read like a description of a scene and not like an encyclopedia. I am not experienced enough to tell whether my instincts are correct, but I know some parts probably need sources. Edit: Nevermind, I just noticed that the same concerns were raised over 10 years ago. I might look into improving the language further in order to get more familiar with Wikipedia practices, but I cannot help with the facts.AengusB (talk) 02:54, 6 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
