This is the first page I've created and I'm struggling to get an image of Elizabeth Armstrong to remain undeleted in the Lead info box. There's a photograph of her in the State Library of South Australia listed as created and published in 1898. The photograph is therefore in the Public Domain in Australia and in the US. Unfortunately, in my first attempt to upload it to Wikipedia, I tagged it as Australian Public Domain but omitted to tag it as Public Domain in the US. So, it was deleted. I've since successfully uploaded it to wikicommons with the same title (maybe that's the problem) tagged as PD in both countries. Image is Elizabeth Armstrong, 1898. I then tried use the wikicommons image in the Lead info box on the Elizabeth Armstrong Page. Then I think that a bot or bots identified it as too big and deleted it on the grounds that a previous version had been flagged as not in the Public Domain in the US (because of my mislabelling). I've got no idea, really, but any help would be appreciated Fileataplace (talk) 08:37, 25 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
