1. This is not vandalism - which is the only time I believe it is OK to delete without an explanation in the edit summary. 2. It is not trivia. It is what is commonly set forth and referenced in sports bios. Please indicate why you think place of birth, degrees, medals, standing in world championships and Olympics and the like are trivia. They are certainly not. 3. Referencing can be improved in terms of format. That is not a reason for deletion. Otherwise, the referencing is clearly correct - it directly supports the statements as to place of birth, degrees, medals, standing in world championships and Olympics, etc. 4.
