Talk:Element

The burdensome appearance of elements (classical element) looks very redundant. --Quester 08:22, 1 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Element as "part"

edit

I'm removing links to this disambiguation page, and there is no onwards link to element's usage as " a fundamental part". This is correct, as Wikipedia is not a Dictionary. The link to Wiktionary is sufficient should someone search directly here. From other pages it is a bit of overkill. In summary - I have deleted links to here that should go to a "fundamental part" definition. LeeG 01:23, 12 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

In cleaing up the page, I removed the following redlinks; I'm including them here in case they are of use or interest.

An Element is a pure substance with only one type of particle.

July 2020 Inquiry, Advice

Opened discussion on deleted entry for "Stoicheia / Stoicheion" as it is redirecting to Euclid's Elements only. The word is related to "Elements", there being a few dominate concepts associated. I wrote about it on the talk page for the word Talk:Stoicheia#Stoicheia_was_not_referenced_or_researched_properly_before_deletion1. If this topic receives an independent page again, should it be referenced under the Elements disamb list? Roxanne-snowden (talk) 09:51, 7 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Element (software) was never known as element.io

edit

It's website is element.io and riot.im website was riot.im, which is the source of the confusion i think. source https://element.io/blog/welcome-to-element/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hiveir (talkcontribs) 22:16, 30 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

"Technology" as it stands, is entirely devoted to software, apart from a lonely Honda motor car, and "Science" includes "heating element".

How about Science→Science and technology (to encompass heating and mobility aids) and Technology→Software engineering ? Doug butler (talk) 03:33, 28 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
