I think part of this article is plaigerized from the U.S. Department of State: I think that this web should provide information that kids can understand better instead of all these bigger words thats not on are level http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/5431.htm

Pictures

Hi, I think that picture of that 100 durham note is old. They don't circulate though no more. All the notes have the new king on them now. The only note that has a picture of Hassan II is him infront of his mosque. I think its a hundred or two hundred durham note. It has Mohammed 6th on it also though —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.247.31.1 (talk) 14:55, 4 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I know they don't circulate anymore, but apparently adding the new note is in violation of copyright rules. So if you have an image of the new MAD 100 note, in line with copyright rules, please add it. BTW on the new note, the last three kings of Morocco are pictured.--karimobo (talk) 18:15, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I notice that I can take sentences or even paragraphs of material added to this article over the last few months and do a Google search on them and find the material exactly in other, apparently copyright locations. Why is this the case? Who is copying whom?

Which material so we can check and verify again or at least ask Karimbo who's been editing this article for a while now? -- FayssalF - Wiki me up® 20:59, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
I will get some. I am beginning to wonder if just copying from other places is the norm. I don't do much content editing. I usually just work on category structure. Hmains (talk) 21:33, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • [1] sentence starting with 'Historically...' added to WP by Karimobo at 15:38, October 29, 2008.
  • [2] US government so maybe not copyright but 'oil and gas' section copied entirely by Karimobo at 15:28, December 7, 2008
  • [3] and 4 or more other locations copied by Karimobo at 10:36, December 9, 2008 May all be based on CIA yearbook, but not cited.

Looking at other additions, I see many are cited (even if copied completely). There is much more without cites, but my connection to WP is so slow, it took me over an hour to just get these. Sorry. This extends to other articles maintained by the same editor. Maybe what is needed is better/more citations. Hmains (talk) 22:42, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've left a note to Karimobo notifying him of this discussion. -- FayssalF - Wiki me up® 17:48, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I see now one can't copy paragraphs from other websites. So I'll rewrite the paragraphs. Thanks for the info. --karimobo (talk) 17:58, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Karimobo for your prompt response. Yes, it is forbidden per WP:COPYRIGHT. See also WP:Copyright violations. -- FayssalF - Wiki me up® 19:38, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Economy of Morocco. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Hello everyone, I am working for the International Trade Centre (ITC), a UN/WTO agency that aims to promote sustainable economic development through trade promotion. I would like to propose the addition of an external link (http://www.macmap.org/QuickSearch/FindTariff/FindTariff.aspx?subsite=open_access&country=504&source=1%7CITC) that leads directly to our online database of customs tariffs applied by Morocco. Visitors can easily look up market access information for Morocco by selecting the product and partner of their interest. I would like you to consider this link under the WP:ELYES #3 prescriptions. Moreover, the reliability and the pertinence of this link can be supported by the following facts 1) ITC is part of the United Nations, and aims to share trade and market access data on by country and product as a global public good 2) No registration is required to access this information 3) Market access data (Tariffs and non-tariff measures) are regularly updated

Thank you, Divoc (talk) 09:52, 28 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Economy of Morocco

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Economy of Morocco's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "IMF-WEO":

  • From Economy of Turkey: "Report for Selected Countries and Subjects". IMF World Economic Outlook Database, April 2018. 29 April 2018. Retrieved 29 April 2018.
  • From Turkey: "Report for Selected Countries and Subjects". IMF World Economic Outlook Database, 2018. April 2018. Retrieved 29 April 2018.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 13:14, 5 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
