Move proposed

I vote that this article's title be moved to "Eastern Economic Corridor" or some close variant as this is the increasingly common usage. Or perhaps a redirect is sufficient. Your views? Seligne (talk) 08:08, 30 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Well, technically the EEC is a newer phase of development of the Eastern Seaboard, the original development of which dates to the late 1980s and early '90s. The article needs to better present its developmental history (rather than just future plans), but I don't see any need for separate articles. The new name should be fine as the article title. --Paul_012 (talk) 09:45, 31 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ncboss recently moved the page to Eastern Economic Corridor of Thailand; the change was reverted by KatnissEverdeen. KatnissEverdeen, any reason in particular for opposing the move? It has, as above, been suggested since 2017 with no opposition. --Paul_012 (talk) 21:02, 2 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

There appears to be no source provided that these 'Eastern seaboard' is more commonly referred to as 'Economic Corridor', which I'm sure could be found with doing some research but the WP:BURDEN falls on the editor(s) who want to change this. The move was also sloppily carried out and added a broken image in the process. If sources can be found that it's not only referred to, but more commonly referred to (as the article asserts) as 'Economic Corridor' then I have no issues with the move.
