Changes based on a Bakken speech

edit

I was at a conference this past Friday where Bakken was given an award and spoke about his career (they also showed a documentary before he spoke); from it I was able to make a few tweaks to the history of how the first pacemaker was created and employed. Nothing major. Good news is I should have a picture for the article soon. --Bobak 17:53, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Norwegian-American?

edit

"Bakken" is a common Norwegian name. Is Earl Bakken of Norwegian ancestry? Manxruler (talk) 22:04, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yep. He sure is. Manxruler (talk) 23:38, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
