Williams's contribution
editThere are two significant issues here:
(1) There is zero mention of John Williams and his music in the article's running text. Then suddenly we are confronted with a "track listing" in which his name appears six times. What is the relationship between his music and Jackson's narration? Presumably Jackson speaks over it, but that needs to be spelled out in the main text somewhere. (Also, do we know if Jackson had access to Williams's music while he was recording his narration?)
(2) The article text indicates that the album was released only as a 12-inch LP. That means the current track listing is inappropriate: it shows an unbroken sequence of eight sequentially numbered tracks, but an LP has two sides, and a proper track listing reflects that fact. - Thanks for raising this. I've added in the main text that the LP features music by John Williams and I have amended the track listing. You are correct in saying that Michael Jackson speaks over Williams' music, but I'm afraid there are no reliable sources which say this. There are also no sources which comment on whether Jackson had access to Williams's music during the recording process. Pyrrhus16 20:47, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
