Editing required
editI have broken the over-long body of text - which was previously one much-too-long swath of text under the heading "Biography" - into at least two parts: (adding) "Modeling career". I do not have the time currently to edit the main body as I believe it is in dire need of heavy editing. Please feel free in the meantime to do so. I will come back at some point in time to contribute to said task.Romanmosaic (talk) 15:30, 21 July 2017 (UTC)
Not the first
editI eve Lisa Fonssagrives was the first supermodel, not Dorian Leigh. ask123 (talk) 16:37, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Holly Golightly
editSuzy Parker and Dorian Leigh were possible sources of inspiration for the character Holly Golightly. see http://thelicentiate.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html?m=1 --Design (talk) 06:32, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

Needs more citations to secondary sources
editGreetings Wikipedians! 12 of the 28 inline citations are to her autobiography. Rather on relying so heavily on her version of her own story, this article would benefit greatly from support from more secondary sources. Cordially, BuzzWeiser196 (talk) 15:49, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
