probably best known

So I'm reading that...

"He is most well-known for his role as Phillip Chancellor II in The Young and the Restless..."

and

"He is currently best known in his homeland for his role as detective Leo Shannon in the TV series, Da Vinci's Inquest."

and

"Before Battlestar Galactica he was probably best known to American audiences as the lovestruck, hapless escaped convict "Dutch Leitner" on the 1970s soap-opera spoof Soap" Watchsmart 13:48, 18 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Year of birth

edit

Which year was Rhodes really born? Some sources say 1936 and some 1937. Here are two examples:

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/donnelly-rhodes-dead-flash-soap-actor-was-80-1073259 Hollywood Reporter (Born in 1937 and 80 years old)

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/01/10/obituaries/donnelly-rhodes-prolific-character-actor-is-dead-at-81.html New York Times (Born in 1936 and 81 years old)

Does anyone out the have any more information? Should both birth years be mentioned in the article?

Please advice! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.69.14.78 (talk) 07:48, 12 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Donnelly Rhodes

I'm sure that this man is somehow involved in the Canadian film and television industry, given the photo was taken at the Canadian Film Centre. But this is not Donnelly Rhodes, unless he stumbled on the fountain of youth.

Consider the following:

That photo is definitely not Donnelly Rhodes. Please have it changed asap 166.198.38.38 (talk) 03:14, 28 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. Not sure where that pic came from, but it looks nothing like him. I removed the image for now. Hopefully, someone with more wiki know-how than I have can pull an actual picture from commons. See above comment by @zanimum for a reference photo. JimboM32 (talk) 04:38, 14 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
