editI removed the change Canadian -> English-Canadian and the addition "Jack later died of a stroke" because: 1) "English-Canadian novelist" is ambiguous in this case. It is unclear whether it means English-speaking (which is probably self evident from his list of publications) or of dual UK/Canadian citizenship, which is probably inaccurate, since Jack became a Canadian citizen quite early in his writing career. 2) "Jack later died of a stroke" is inaccurate where placed in this page, because the re-publication of his books, mentioned previously, happened after his death.
