Also, per WP:USEENGLISH, the page can probably be moved to "(Soy)bean paste girl". Opencooper (talk) 01:26, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
Racism
edit@Opencooper, you don't think that aspiring to be Western instead of Korean is discussing inherent racism? valereee (talk) 01:54, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Valereee: Maybe. One could also call it traditionalism, nationalism, etc. Either way, the BBC only calls the term sexist, and we need to stick to only what sources state, and not read past what they say. The sources I posted above mainly discuss the term in context of gender and class. Opencooper (talk) 02:05, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
- Also, not sure why you added that cat back. Refer to WP:CATSPECIFIC. Opencooper (talk) 02:11, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
- I'll let the racism go for now, not worth arguing about if someone disagrees. Not sure what you're objecting to w/re the cat? valereee (talk) 02:15, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
- Pages shouldn't contain both parent and child categories, but only the most specific one. "Pejorative terms for women" is a subcategory of "Sexist terminology", so the latter category shouldn't be included. Opencooper (talk) 03:10, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
- Oh, I didn't realize it was a subcat! Or that I was adding it back, actually. valereee (talk) 12:33, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
