Footnotes & OR
editI think that footnotes in an article of this length and nature, i.e. short biography without any controversy, are superfluous and in fact they would be an undue burden on the article's readability. Every statement in the article is contained in one of the two references, except for the Alexander Sitkovetsky one, which is taken from an amazon review, which I considered that would be a bad choice to link to.
The same points apply to the Original Research tag, which is misleading and hasty, as —and I repeat myself— every statement is verifiable in the two external links.
It is inappropriate for me to remove the tags, but I hope there will be some discussion to resolve this.

- I tagged OR because the first fact I looked to verify - that he lives in London - wasn't in either article cited. I stopped there. Use your judgement on the tags. Toddst1 15:22, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- The inspired minds link has a second page, where the info about London and his family is located.
- Also, the other link, has a subpage (Maestro's Corner), also containing family information, which under WP:EL should probably not be linked to because it is a subpage--Atavi 15:29, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- PS:My judgement on the tags is that I should not remove them myself, at least not without discussion.--Atavi 15:32, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- I've removed the tags. I wish everyone on Wikipedia was as polite as you. Cheers! Toddst1 20:03, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Reads like a press release...

- Agreed; have made a start on re-writing into better, less promotional style and deleting undated "future" references. Have also expanded and references his noted work on the Goldberg Variations. Robma (talk) 07:34, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
