This page says the division is named after Banjo Paterson, yet he wasn't born until long after the area was named (1864), also http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Paterson%2C_New_South_Wales says the town is named after William Paterson. 222.158.178.220 12:33, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
According to the AEC website the Division is named after Banjo Paterson (although there is some conjecture on this), but one thing is for sure, the township is not named after AB Paterson - it was around long before he was. I have fixed it now. Nomadtales23:59, 11 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
