Lavage versus wash
editAny sense on how the procedures peritoneal lavage and peritoneal wash differ?
I tend to think they are the same thing. Lavage is French language for wash.[1] I tend to think the articles should be merged and will do so... in a while if I don't hear any objections. Nephron T|C
- I suggest merging to peritoneal wash (PW) and describing PW for:
- Diagnosis of trauma.
- Diagnosis of malignancy.
- Therapy, e.g. treatment of peritonitis.
