Update Needed
editThis article dates back to March 2008. Would be nice to have this updated to include later events and status about Dextre. The latest I could easily find was:
http://www.nasaspaceflight.com/2009/04/iss-preparing-debuts-canadas-dextre-operations-japans-htv/ (April, 2009)
and: http://www.asc-csa.gc.ca/eng/missions/sts-123/news.asp (January 2009)
but there is probably more recent status somewhere.
Hubble
editI thought the Hubble servicing program was cancelled in favour of doing an EVA? Can someone fix that line?

- Looks like the body on the near table, and at least one arm on the far table - not easy to see - Rod57 (talk) 07:54, 10 May 2017 (UTC)

Article could be updated to say what it has been used for
editWhat was it first used for - Does NASA list all the jobs it has been used for eg ORU replacements, cargo ship unloading ? - Rod57 (talk) 19:39, 8 May 2017 (UTC)
How to spell Dexterous/Dextrous
editNASA websites (eg the two referenced here) spell it Dextrous. (Canada always seems to just call it Dextre.) Wikipedia has lots of uses of Special Purpose Dexterous Manipulator - are there RS for that spelling ? - Are both correct ? - Rod57 (talk) 13:08, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- NASA STS press kits eg STS-135 use 'Dexterous' - perhaps that is more authorative than their websites ? - Rod57 (talk) 20:04, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
Are both arms the same
editThere is one spare arm on ELC-3, it's not described as right or left so is there a source that says if the two arms are the same and interchangeable ? - Rod57 (talk) 13:12, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
A dated list of tasks it has carried out would be interesting
editA dated list of tasks it has carried out would be interesting (doesn't seem to be on the official Dextre website). Eg which tools used, what types of ORUs handled. - Not commissioned until 2011 ? Can we even say if it is frequently used to unload unpressurised cargo from various post-STS supply missions ? Is it often/frequently used to assist EVAs ? Some refs :
