(Is the current eastern terminus near the site of one of the two ferries to New Jersey which were discontinued when the Delaware Memorial Bridge opened?) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.15 (talkcontribs) 16:14, 23 April 2007

Confusing Caption

edit

The first picture of 273 (Main St. Newark) is captioned as "DE 273 eastbound on Main Street in Newark." Technically 273E would be Delaware Ave, as Main Street is one way, westbound. Granted the picture is taken facing east, but it is not of DE 273 eastbound. Does anyone else find this misleading? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.249.106.216 (talk) 15:35, 3 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Border with Maryland in Newark?

edit

The article says that the highway starts at the Maryland border in Newark, but neither Google Maps nor OpenStreetMap show that part of the highway as being in Newark proper. Perhaps it is more accurate to say that it starts near Newark? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bk2204 (talkcontribs) 01:16, 3 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

DE 273 reaches the Maryland border less than a half mile west of the Newark border in a developed unincorporated area that has a Newark mailing address. So therefore many people would consider it to reach the Maryland border in Newark. But I suppose there is nothing wrong with being more technical based on where the actual border is.
