David Biespiel is one of his generation's most inventive poets.

This reads a little too much like David wrote it himself and is using it as his resume. For example, do we really need to know the names of everyone who contributes to Politico's "The Arena?" "Afresh and refreshed" source

The second reference link to The Oregonian piece, "Poetry: Afresh and refreshed", is written by Biespiel and therefore should be reconsidered as a valid source. --SoupDweller (talk) 15:08, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

Poetry and Democracy too detailed

The entire "poetry and democracy" section needs a solid rewrite, or even just a complete deletion. Perhaps it fits better as a small paragraph in Career. It's an interesting debate sure, but not relevant for an encyclopedia entry. --SoupDweller (talk) 15:41, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
