English V United Kingdom V Great Britain
editThis states that Daniel Lloyd is an english cyclist but is english the right nationality? i mean in that england doesn't compete in cyclign (apart from the commonwealth games). it is great britain that competes in cycling si in theory he should a british cyclist and not an english cyclist. this is also applicqable to other british riders like geraint thomas and dan fleeman Phil Nolte (talk) 13:31, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
I think English is fine. Assuming he comes from England, British and English are both accurate and easy to understand, but English is more specific. He's a cyclist who is English. It doesn't matter in this context who or what he has represented when competing. sorsoup (talk) 21:26, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
