editthis thing reads like a press release. it needs a total re-write, if not to be deleted. seems like it was written by the guy himself or his record label. Shamrox 10:15, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed... found "reflexively literate" here: http://www.carnegiehall.org/textSite/box_office/events/evt_7009.html ... seems like publicity material --Lukobe 19:47, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
- The article may have some problems, but it certainly isn't speedy delete material. Bern easily meets notability criteria. What are your concern's exactly. People really do compare him to Dylan, Springsteen etc. -MrFizyx 19:37, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- I've removed the entire 3rd paragraph (reflexively literate...) and added some references to validate the comparisons. Unfortunately this is all I have time for right now. -MrFizyx 23:11, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Soundtrack for 2010 film "Drones"
editHopefully when "Drones" gets wide release, this article will get updated to mention how much of the final soundtrack is provided by Dan Bern, and also interesting facts like that he wrote 30 songs for it within the first 30 days of seeing it, and that he emailed the directors the first song the next MORNING after first watching it. As told by the prolific Bern himself, in the Kevin Pollak Chat Show episode #37, found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLRiLZBrDn0 199.214.19.9 (talk) 20:31, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
Number of Songs
editChanged 'He is a prolific composer, having written thousands of songs' to 'He is a prolific composer, having written hundreds of songs' as the provided sources include over 400 songs but nowhere near one thousand let alone thousands. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 156.34.231.31 (talk) 03:19, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
