editThe main paragraph describing the impacts of Israeli attacks on Hezbollah in Dahieh is 100% biased and based on nothing. One blatantly subjective sentence declares “Israel expected Lebanese citizens to submit humbly to Israeli orders to evacuate.”, belittleing Israeli attempts to save innocent lives. There in only one cited source, and it is used to throw Hezbollah in an unrealistically beneficial light. Unsigned comment added 07:58, 10 December 2006
- -- "(...) belittleing Israeli attempts to save innocent lives". And that sentence is not byased and subjective??? That's just whitewashing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.39.218.10 (talk) 09:53, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
Develoment of 'Dahiyeh'
editThis article contains a synopsis of Dahiyeh's development by a knowledgeable, if somewhat sympathetic, western source, Helena Cobban. Proper editing of its content would add greatly to better overall notability and understanding of the area. It describes prior times, before the hype associated with its most recent destruction. I hope somebody does more with it; I've just added it as a reference. Regards, CasualObserver'48 (talk) 05:06, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Pictures
editThese pictures do not correspond to the real (2020) dahieh, these were taken during the war.Wikipedia stop misleading people and showing them that dahieh is a place that looks like hell with destroyed buildings! Someoneudk (talk) 18:47, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
Requested move 28 January 2022
editSouthern Suburbs of Beirut (Dahieh) → Dahieh – The article was moved from Dahieh to Southern Suburbs of Beirut (Dahieh) on 22 June 2021 by blocked user Jimmyp3 (talk · contribs), without discussion. I feel that Dahieh is the most common name, but even if it isn't, the current format of the title is incorrect. Nehme1499 20:16, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
- As a revert of a previously non-discussed name Im just going to go ahead and do it. nableezy - 20:20, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
- Done. nableezy - 20:23, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
- Hi there, I renamed it in the past because I wasn't sure that the word DAHIEH can be correctly used in English. Also, I wanted a that whhenever a search was made with "southern subberbs to beirut" that it lead to that page, but it does I guess anyway.Jimmyp3 (talk)
- @Jimmyp3: You can always create a WP:REDIRECT, there is no need to move the page in this case. Otherwise, if you aren't sure whether the correct title is correct, you can open a move discussion. Nehme1499 12:11, 29 January 2022 (UTC)

Hezbollah is not a militant group, Hezbollah is considered a terror organization by the united states and many other countries, including all of the western countries. It is important to stay accurate with the details and naming them militant group is false information. Liorsushar (talk) 13:11, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
