Up to scratch?
editThis article seems to read as an advertisement for DFS, rather than an unbiased description of the business. Consider revising? 87.127.33.174 (talk) 22:12, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Leather fetish?
editDoes anyone have a reference for the leather fetish claim? Rojomoke 21:40, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Never mind, it's already there. Rojomoke 21:44, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:DFS.gif
editImage:DFS.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
References
editThe first three refs are the same. Is this duplication really needed? Digifiend (talk) 10:37, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
Constant Sale
editThe fact that they seem to have a constant sale in my mind deserves to have a mention. I willing to hear from a few others before adding it in though. Andy Lowson (talk) 21:52, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
- To the point that there's even a Facebook group, "I hear there is a sale on at DFS", that must close if there ever isn't a sale at DFS for more than a week! Dave-ros (talk) 18:32, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
- Well it's 2011 now and I still can't remember when a sale wasn't on Ms.henrick (talk) 10:26, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
CEO information
editThe name of the current DFS CEO is out of date - it should be Tim Stacey, as per this article: https://www.retailgazette.co.uk/blog/2018/05/dfs-appoints-tim-stacey-new-ceo/.
I am unable to update this as they are currently my client at my agency - so declaring a conflict of interest here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noomintron (talk • contribs) 14:47, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
